What is spam, why is it wrong and what can I do about it?
Spam means that commercial information is sent to your mailbox without you giving your permission to do so. There is no „legal“ and „illegal“ spam. If you have not agreed to receive the data, there is no excuse for anyone filling up your mailbox with it. If someone sends you spam then you should notify the company involved and if they do not stop then report them to your local Consumer Protection officials:
What is “fair trade marketing”?
Spindo Club practices „fair trade marketing“ – we believe that everyone has a right to privacy and that respecting that privacy is mandatory.
Offers, prize-games and other information you might receive through Spindo Club means that we have sent it out direct from us and the sponsor(s) of the prize game were never given your personal data.
It also means we respect you enough to choose the offers carefully: they will always contain a prize game, special discounts or other possible privileges. If receiving the e-mail will not give you “something extra”, we will not send it. Also, there will be a limit to the offers you receive through us: 1 e-mail per week as a maximum, usually less.
Spam is disrespectful. Say no to Spam.
